The day Maryanne walked out of the theater healthy, my love for this girl quadrupled. To date, I struggle to say no to her and each time I am successful at turning down her requests, I always feel guilty. Mum says that dad and I made her a little bit of a spoilt brat, but have you ever seen Maryanne's puppy eyes? Especially when she needs a favor huh? You can't say no to that.
4 years ago on a day like this, I walked out of a Business Advocacy training session to find tons of missed calls from some of my family members. I was just about to go serve tea when I decided to check my phone. There was no doubt that something was terribly wrong.
She was probably in the company of her friends or her sisters, let's just say her friends for the purpose of this theory. On this same day, dad must have gone to hang out at the same market. I have a feeling that they were both rocking their Sunday best because, market days must have been a big deal, you know, like their version of Koroga Festival or something.
